From today's point of view, Justin Martyr is one of the most important theologians of the second century. This is primarily due to the fact that we have a considerable amount of sources preserved. But how was the view on Justin in antiquity and late antiquity? Was there an explicit reception of his writings and to what extent? The seminar will provide some answers to these questions and present some ideas for further discussion.
