Gathering research activities in the broad field of Christianity in its Antique context
with interdisciplinarity as a hallmark
C-SAC gathers research in Early Christianity in its context in the ancient Roman World. Interdisciplinarity is a hallmark of C-SAC. Scholars from all theological disciplines contribute to the activities of the centre and so does scholars with a background in the disciplines of Classical Philology, History and Religious Studies. The centre hosts visiting researchers at all levels who are here for shorter or longer periods and welcome students at all levels for its seminars. C-SAC hosts collective as well as individual research projects.
